In the last couple of weeks, we have implemented two new features that I’d like to tell you about.

  1. Lecture Notes
  2. Comment Notifications

For both features to work, you must be logged-in to the Tech Explorations website.

With Lecture Notes, while in a lecture page, you can create rich-text notes that are attached to that specific lecture.

You can access your notes, individually, at the lecture but also in a dedicated Notes page, where your notes from accross all courses are listed.

You can also export your notes in PDF and Word format, and print them.

With Comment Notifications enabled, we will send you an email when a new comment is posted in a page that you want to monitor.

This is particularly useful if you have asked a question in a lecture using the Comments tool, and you want to know as soon as someone answers it. With notifications enabled, you will not need to manually check for a reply.

Here’s a short video that demonstrates how to use both new features:

Enjoy!
